A Call For Stories

My name is Ken Land. I am a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of a mental health and substance abuse clinic located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have been involved in the mental health profession since 1974.

In order to help the souls who seek help in improving their lives and to decrease the suffering in the world, I am exploring the dynamics of heterosexual relationships: specifically, relationships in which the woman is abusive toward the man, and wherein the man stays in the relationship even as the abuse escalates. This is pervasive and undocumented phenomena. I will publish a book on this topic, a collection of stories from around the world.

I extend an invitation to you, friend, colleague and citizen to submit factual stories about a relationship where the woman is abusive and the man puts up with it. The story can be about a personal experience or that of a friend, family member, colleague, neighbor or patient. Please click to see the Submission Guidelines.
